MPCI Endorsements and Options

The Hurricane Insurance Protection – Wind Index (HIP-WI) Endorsement covers a portion of the deductible of the underlying crop insurance policy when the county, or adjacent county, is within the area of sustained hurricane-force winds from a named hurricane that is published by the National Hurricane Center (NHC) at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Effective for the 2023 crop year and forward, this endorsement now includes an option to cover a tropical storm weather event.

Get the right level of coverage with the area-based crop insurance option SCO. You are able to select SCO when you elect the Price Loss Coverage (PLC) at the Farm Service Agency (FSA).

Enhanced Coverage Option is an area-based supplemental shallow-loss coverage that covers loss from 86% up to 90% or 95%. This endorsement is offered on select crops across the U.S.

Stacked Income Protection Plan is for upland cotton providing coverage for a portion of the expected revenue for your area. STAX may be purchased on its own, or in conjunction with another policy - including Yield Protection, Revenue Protection, Revenue Protection with the Harvest Price Exclusion, and any of the Area Risk Protection Insurance policies.

Endorse your policy with the Post Application Coverage Endorsement (PACE), providing additional coverage in the circumstance you are prevented from post/split applying nitrogen in accordance with your policy.
