2025 Planting Progress Updates
The 2025 planting season is in full swing, and NAU Country wishes you a successful season ahead! Check out the planting progress updates for select crops in major agricultural states nationwide.
What is included:
- Planting progress maps for corn, soybeans, cotton, grain sorghum, and spring wheat.
- The map highlights each state's planting progress, with color coding to indicate whether data is available and how it compares to the 5-year average—weather ahead or behind.
- The value definitions list the current percentage planted, as well as an indicator in green (percentage above average) or red (percentage below average).
The USDA provides all data in conjunction with Cornell University. More information regarding this data can be found HERE.
*Note: The weekly 2025 Planting Progress Update summary sheets will be available after 9:30 (CT) on Tuesday mornings following the release of the prior day's reports from USDA/Cornell University.
