Join the 2025 NAU Country Photo Calendar Contest! Submit your farm and ranch photos now through Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. (CDT) for a chance to have your photos featured in our upcoming calendar. This contest is open to Agents, Farmers, Ranchers, Producers, NAU Country employees, and friends. We want to see your captivating farm-related photos!

NAU Country takes pride in our mission of supporting the American farmer through risk management. Celebrate the American farmer by sharing your snapshots of planting season, stunning sunrises and sunsets, farm animals at play, or the diligent work of harvesting. Help us showcase the beauty and resilience of the American farming community.

*Please be assured that participants will never be asked to register or provide financial information to claim a prize.

Contest Rules and Voting:

1. Please read the contest details, disclaimers, and complete photo submission requirements below.
2. Then, submit up to five (5) farm/ranch-themed photos with your signed *Release Form by emailing itmarketing@naucountry.com by 12:00 p.m. (CDT) on Thursday, September 5, 2024. 
3. After the submission window closes, we will post the photos that have met the printing and contest requirements to a photo gallery on our Facebook page and will allow voting for the most liked photo.
4. Look through all the photos and "like" your favorites! The photo with the most likes will be used on the cover of the 2025 NAU Country Photo Calendar.

Voting begins Friday, September 6, 2024, and ends at 12:00 p.m. (CDT) Friday, September 13, 2024, on the NAU Country Facebook page within a photo gallery.   

Photos that qualify will be entered into the contest, but not all photos will be chosen to be printed within the calendar. The cover winner will be notified via email once voting results are tallied. Other chosen photographs will be placed within the calendar and given printed recognition, including the photographer's name, county, and state. These participants will be notified via email following the contest. Participants whose photos are selected to be used within the calendar will receive a free calendar. Shipping dates are TBD.

Disclaimers:

In addition to the required signed *Release Form, we cannot accept or include photos featuring the faces of minor children, as we prioritize their privacy and protection. Please, no AI-generated photos. All farm photos must be taken within the United States. Limit five (5) photos allowed to be entered per person. Not all photos entered will be included in the final calendar. Only photos that meet the requirements will be entered into the contest. Photos received after the submission due date will not be entered into the contest. Responses may be delayed, please only send photos that meet requirements. If you are sending a photo on behalf of someone, you must include the information required.

Photo Submission Requirements: 

• Send up to five (5) high-quality Original or Raw photos - the largest file size you can. Cameras on phones often resize when sent directly from the mobile device. Download it to your computer and send it as an attachment to the email noted below. 
• Meet theme and minimum size requirements of at least 12'' wide x 9'' tall at 300 dpi/3675 pixels wide x 2775 pixels tall (Landscape orientation, not Portrait, please).
• Meet the photo submission deadline on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. (CDT). 
• Submit photos with a signed *Release Form and send to itmarketing@naucountry.com. Include the photographers name, email address, mailing address, county, state, season taken (if different). *If you are sending multiple photos from the same person and location, only ONE (1) form is needed.

Unsure of how to determine photo size? Follow these steps!  

Option 1:

1. Open Windows Explorer on your computer. Press the Windows button   on the bottom bar and the "E" key on your keyboard simultaneously.
2. Navigate to the folder where your pictures are located. 
3. Right-click in the folder and choose “View”.
4. Select “Details”.
5. At the top of the window, you'll see  Name, Date, Type, Size, (etc.), right-click within that area.
6. Choose “More”.
7. Within the pop-up, scroll down and select “Dimensions”.

Option 2:

1. Right click on the image.
2. Select “Properties”.
3. Select the “Details” tab.
4. Scroll down and you'll see “Dimensions”.
